Here are some pictures of various people here in Jamaica:

This is a picture of the little girl that lives next door. Her name is Gabriel and she was an angel in her schools Christmas performance.



Next is a picture I took at our church of this cutest little girl. She just loved to have her picture taken. Each time I would take the picture she would run up and want to see it. Then she would clap her hands and go back and pose for another one. She is being raised by a lady in the branch that doesn't have any children but just takes babies in that are given up for one reason or another.



These two little girls our cousins. Their mothers are sisters and both are members of the church. Both the little girls daddies were shot and killed at a very young age. Their mothers were never married to their daddies. In Jamaica they just call it baby mothers. It is not uncommon for one man to have several baby mothers.



This is a picture of the one little girls mother. Her name is Janet. She is holding her little girl and the other little girl is her sisters. Elder Sorensen and I visit her weekly in Falmouth and she is starting to come back out to church. Her sister, Sharnett, is still not coming out but we will continue to work with her. She has really had a rough life. About a year ago she was caught in cross fire of a gang battle and was shot up pretty bad and her brother was killed. She continues to struggle with life.

After church Sunday they had a Fireside and below is a picture of some of the Relief Society sisters doing a skit.



On Monday Fred and I went and visited with President Grant at his home in Anchovy. He is in the branch presidency and is a wonderful man. He lives out in the country. It is so pretty where he lives. We took some pictures of him and us. He is married and they have three children.



Fred and I were down town MoBay and there was this cute little lady, all decked out in traditional Jamaican attire, wanting you to take her picture. Of course she did want you to give her a little money. It was worth it because she also sang a few Jamaican ballads. She was just delightful.



These Jamaican people are wonderful. We love them.
