Thanksgiving in Jamaica 2010

Thanksgiving isn't celebrated here in Jamaica because it is an American holiday but we celebrated Thanksgiving twice. The first dinner we had was over in Ochi at the Russel's on Monday before Thanksgiving day and also P-day. It was for all the missionaries serving in the north zone. Below is a picture of the senior couples serving on the North shore and also President and Sister Hendricks.

Then on Wednesday we drove to Kingston and stayed at the mission home and had Thanksgiving dinner Thursday with all the senior missionary couples. There were eight couples for dinner. Here is a picture of President and Sister Hendricks carving the turkey. It was the next best thing to being home with our own families.
