Two More Baptisms

On Sunday, the 25th of July, there were two more baptisms in the branch, Denice and Chavell. Denise is a member of the Mckenzie family and was baptised by her father who was baptised just recently. Now there is just one member left of the McKenzie family to be baptised. His name is Duane. He attended church this last Sunday and has started the missionary lessons. The McKenzie family are just awesome. Brother and Sister McKenzie are always willing to help in any way with what ever needs to be done in the branch.

Chavell is thirteen years old and is the first to be baptised in her family. She is an amazing young lady. Her mother has been attending church for some time and is working on preparing herself to be baptised. She is a great support to Chavell.


Brother Mckenzie, Denise, Chavell, and Elder Trumpet in his floods. We had to go to Kingston right after church so Elder Trumpet just wore one of the jump suits the branch had and they didn't have a large one so he had to make a medium size do.



At the end of the service Brother McKenzie bore his testimony and just wept. He is such a humble man and is looking forward to the day he can take his wife and family to the temple.

It was also transfers this past week. We had to take Elder Conder to Kingston Sunday afternoon where he was going to fly out Monday morning for Freeport in the Bahamas. Elder Conder is a great missionary. He served here in Mobay for 6 months. We are all going to miss him tons. We now have a new missionary just out of the MTC, from Nephi, Utah. His name is Elder Hitchcock and really seems like a great kid. We really enjoy serving with these young missionaries. They are all the best.
